Woohoo, spring!
I just got around to opening my blinds for the day, because as much as I hate being visible to people on the sidewalk, my plants need light. And the grass across the street! It's filled with dandelions! Blooming! There are flowers! Actual flowers (even if they are weeds) that weren't planted already-blooming by cityscapers. Flowers! I'm so going to eat lunch in the park now.
(Also, in case any of you were worried, I was nowhere near Chinatown yesterday. It's kind of scary to see the pictures, since I've been in and out of that station countless times. And during rush hour. Chinatown has some of the worst intersections ever, but that... how did that even happen? Gah. The CTA has had some pretty awful luck lately with its trains. We've also had two derailments/train breakdowns in the past month.)
