Dear Everyone On the Internet,

I think it is high time I gave everyone an apology for things like this and this (I'd recommend not actually reading the first one. That's something even I can't come up with words to fix).

So... a-hem. I am sorry that I thought that picking the two most contrasting colours made for good, readable, pretty web design. I may have been colourblind at the time. Let's all pretend that 1998-2000 or so never happened on the internet and we will all be fine.

Thank you,
[livejournal.com profile] evilhippo

P.S. I'd apologize for the layout at [livejournal.com profile] omg_alchemist, but that's only indirectly my fault, and I can do nothing about it.

Don't appologize. It's beautiful.

So beautiful, I fear my monitor may explode.

I think the power ranger's theme adds charm. I think it should be placed on the first one as well, though that would be altering history.

I think right around 2000 was the time that I was creating atrocities on the web as well. Ohnoes.

Also, OW OMG_ALCHEMIST YOU ARE WORSE THAN THE WEBPAGES OF OLD AND CHARM. My eyes. They are x_x

Oh holy crap, the Power Rangers theme still works on that one? I thought browsers stopped supporting that sort of thing because background midis were pure evil??

No, we've just been avoiding the sites that use them.

... I don't blame us. Though there is a certain nostalgia when you run across one.

Um, ow, my eyes.

By the way, what're those and please tell me you didn't make them during your rampant teenage years . . .

As far as I'm concerned, it's not 1) emo or 2) on geocities. So that's slight points in my favour (even if it is quite clearly the work of an insane mind). Otherwise... I have no excuse. Except that I've grown out of it. Mostly. I hope.

Oh, wow. I hadn't realized OMG_Alchemist had become fuchsia.

It's so amusing... and yet... my eyes. XD;

That's the unfortunate problem with it all... being torn between "Do I keep reading... omg" and "OMG... my eyes."

I'm now struggling with the question of why NO ONE told me that... that was... so... you know, I think I see the problem. I don't know how I'd tell anyone what was wrong with those, either. ^_^

The layout is something that doesn't cause me any pain. But... well... that may be because I'm on a huge amount of painkillers.

I think you've got an advantage on the rest of the world there. I'm thinking of investing in sunglasses in case I ever have to look at the main page again (plus it'll make me look cool). What are you doing over here?
